To be married in BC, all you need is a bride, a groom, an officiant, a license, and two witnesses. Everything else is quite literally icing on the cake. In BC, you have two choices, Religious Officiant or Marriage Commissioner. Keep in mind that a marriage commissioner performs a civil ceremony and they do not mention God at all. If you want a religious ceremony go to your local church or check out other officiants listed on this page. To search for your local marriage commissioner or wedding licence location go to the BC Vital Statistics page.
